We are 3 couples in our mid 50s. we are going to lisbon for the first time. trying to decide between staying at hotel pousada lisboa praça do comércio or The One Palácio da Anunciada

I would go with the One Palacio da Anunciada because it has a nice inner courtyard to relax in after a day of sightseeing.

We loved The One Palacio da Anununciada!
We were just there one night but really enjoyed the beautiful, historic building including the lovely courtyard that the other writer mentioned. There is also a roof top pool which would be nice if you are there during the summer.
My only complaint is that we were in a basement level room which was not ideal, and I would specify against this if I went back.
