Heading to Lisbon next week with a multi generational group of 12. Celebrating my parents 60th wedding anniversary on a Viking Douro River Cruise with a land portion in Lisbon. My parents are in their 80’s and travel to Europe 1-2 times a year using Viking. My mom has been having respiratory issues since getting RSV December of 2022 (including bronchitis December 2023) so her energy level is down. Thinking the Historic Hills Tram may be a good way for her to see Lisbon and not have to do the hills. Is there a direct website to buy tickets as I only see other companies selling tickets like Viator? Also can you buy once in Lisbon in person? That way they could decide which day to do it once in Lisbon. How difficult is finding the starting place to get on the tram in the main square?
The company that runs it is Yellow Bus.
They also have Hop On Hop Off bus tours and River tours.
We have used their bus tours and like them but they can get stuck in city traffic

Thank you for the information. Has anyone else used the trams? Do they tend to be crowded ?

Yes the trams do get crowded particularly the older, historical ones that work their way through the main tourist routes. I only used the modern trams and they were crowded enough but I saw plenty of the old touristy ones going past and they were rammed.
