I’ve looked at so many properties in Porto I’m dazed! Anyone stay at place they might recommend?

TIA...

Don't overthink it. Porto isn't very big. Stay somewhere between the Sao Bento train station and the river. I stayed here last year - location was great, in the Ribeira district. It was a nice hostel - I had a private room and private bathroom.

Just hop on Booking.com and use the map feature to find a place in your price range with desired amenities, etc.

I stayed at Porto Belo Clerigos, a small apartment with a large patio for 3 nights for less than €200. It was central, though not near a metro station, it was near the tram lines. I walked most places - lots of up and down, but that's everywhere in Porto. Uber generally works well - twice it was confusing to figure out where I was supposed to meet the car and once I had a driver who didn't know the city at all well. Taxis are more reliable and aren't expensive.

Here's a second for InPatio. Location is convenient, the cost is very affordable compared to many other places to stay in the area, the owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and the breakfast is outstanding. It's a small, intimate place so don't wait too long to make reservations.

Because of the recommendations here, InPatio was my first choice, but it was fully booked.

Thank you everyone who helped out. We made reservations at InPatio as recommended. I’m very happy we have this forum to help out. I’m probably going to be posting more questions so I’m putting y’all on notice!
