Help need a rick steves book

Lost our RS book somewhere in Lisbon and we are traveling to Coimbra, Porto, theDuro valley. Does anyone know where we can buy a new one. We leave in three days for Coimbra.

Could you purchase an ebook version from Amazon for your phone? I'd only do this if you have access to wifi, though. That's a lot of data to download!

Download the Ebook on ipad or tablet and it will be there offline as well.

Alternatively, it looks like Bertrand Livreiros at Rua Garrett 73 has a good selection of travel guides in English. Good luck!

It looks like that bookstore does have a copy of the 2015 edition of the book, according to their website. You might want to call to confirm that they have a copy. +351 21 347 6122

Went to book store, no luck so far. Went to FNAC store also. Lonely Planet has a corner on the travel books in English. Thanks for the help though.

Jerry&Stelly,

Aside from "cell phone data", are you travelling with any other electronic devices such as E-Readers (Kindle, iPad or whatever)? Rather than spend a lot of valuable holiday time searching book stores, downloading the E-book version of the guidebook as someone suggested above is the easiest and quickest solution.

Should have said we are here for another 5 weeks and we will be traveling up the coast and into Santiago de Compestella and Bilbao(. we have the portion of RS book for that) And we stay mostly in apartments. We will try the down load solution, but we will keep trying to find our book or another book store. We will not spend a lot of time looking for a book store but it's not that hard to run across a bookstore in Lisbon. Thanks for the suggestions as we will probably down load a book but we still will miss our hard copy. We are Luddites.

I suggest you email the Rick Steves’ office here in Edmonds, WA. They may have a suggestion. Either merchandise sales rep or tour department.

The only location suggested for Portugal by Rick's publisher is FNAC, probably the one that you already tried:

FNAC Chiado,
Rua Nova do Almada 110,
Baixa,
Lisbon

We searched FNAC yesterday to no avail. Lot's of Lonely Planets but no RS books.

Thanks for all the helpful responses.
