Hi - first time posting .,
I am travelling to Portugal from Spain and considering this tour. - Heart of Portugal in 12 Days Tour.
I am happy to pay a single supplement but would like to hear from anyone who has done this trip as a single.
The web says that the rooms are very basic, as a light sleeper, just how basic is that?
All the rest of the tour sounds great

Hello - I did this tour as a single and loved the tour. It's hard to predict exactly what kind of room you will have because the hotels vary in character. Some of the hotels are small and may have a wide variety of rooms, so one person or couple might have a very large room while another single or couple wind up in something small and somewhat basic. I believe that guides do try to even out the good luck on rooms. In my experience on this tour, every room was much better than what I would describe as basic, and sometimes I had very large, elegant rooms that would normally be for two people. I always take earplugs but didn't need them in the rooms I was assigned. You're right - it's a great tour.
