Half-Day Tour to Braga and Guimaraes? (Less than 8 hours)

Hello—I'm seeing lots of day tour options from Porto to Braga and Guimaraes that last 8 hours, but that's a bit long for me and my boyfriend since we're only in Porto for 3 days and want to spend time in the city itself too. I'm hoping for an abridged half-day tour (around 4, 5, or even 6 hours) to Braga and Guimaraes instead. Do you know of any?

We also will have a car, so we could technically drive there ourselves and do short guided tours of select sites. If we did that, any recommendations?

I liked both Braga and Guimaraes, quite a bit. I agree, you are short of time. Personally, if there are any, I'd be miserable on a tour that went to both cities in 4-5 hours. You'd spend more time on the bus.

If you can find one, I guess, my suggestion would be to go to just Guimaraes.

I do not know of any specific tours, but both cities are nice and worth visiting. If you are interested in churches, I'd suggest Braga, including splendid Bom Jesus outside of town. While Braga's pedestrian zone in the city center is lively, Guimares's medieval city center is more quaint and compact. My wife and I were completely charmed by Guimares' atmospheric squares and cobblestoned streets, especially in the evening.
