Guided tours in Lisbon

Hello,

My wife and I, along with another couple, are visiting Portugal in mid October. We’d like to do a private guided tour of Lisbon, general orientation/historical or a food related walk (or maybe both!). So looking for advice on what tours are fun and recommendations on current guides or companies.

Thanks! Chris

We visited Lisbon in 2017 as part of our RS Portugal tour. At that time we used Your Friend in Lisbon https://yourfriendinlisbon.com/ for a tour to Sintra and Cascais. I don’t see that on their website anymore but they do customize. Our daughter had a sprained ankle and needed a wheelchair. They accommodated her needs and we had a great tour. the guide and driver were excellent and we had a seaside lunch we still talk about. We also did the Song of the Sea tour with Culinary Backstreets https://culinarybackstreets.com/category/cities-category/lisbon/. It was fabulous! Go hungry!

Check out Devour Tours. It is a family-run company owned by the nicest people.
They do group or private tours.

It's a good idea to take the tour early in your visit so that you can return to places you enjoyed :)
Enjoy your trip! Eat a Pasteis de Nata for the rest of us!
