I plan to be in Lisbon in late May and would like to engage a guide for a "Lisbon 101" type of tour (private or small group). Has anyone used a guide or a company you would recommend? I looked at City Unscripted, but the reviews seem a bit mixed.

Our guide on our RS Tour was Raphael Pereira. He was excellent. Knowledgeable & passionate about the history. Don’t know if he is currently doing private tours. Another recommended Lisbon tour guide is Cristina Duarte. https://www.lisbonbeyond.pt/ Highly regarded by forum contributors. We used Lisbon Riders for a trip to Sintra. Our guide Manuel was engaging & knowledgeable. They also provide tours of Lisbon. lisbonriders.com

Highly recommend Culinary Backstreets if you want to do an additional food tour-our guide Francisca was so knowledgeable (has lived in Lisbon her entire life). She also does private tours, which is what we just took last week.
