My husband and I are visiting Portugal in late May/early June and are looking for suggestions on a golf resort. It seems there are many but can't find much info on the courses themselves.

We are flying into Lisbon and are only there for 1 week so we thought we'd spend a few days around Lisbon area and then the other days South (Algarve). We're open to suggestions, however.

If you and your husband are golf lovers, then you're coming to the right place - Portugal has won many prizes in what golf is concerned, including World's and Europe's Best Golf Destination, Europe's Best Golf Venue (Quinta do Lago) and others.
There are many golf courses in Portugal, from north to south and islands, and difficult is to choose just one of them and enjoy some great golf holidays. You can check this site that has some more information about the matter and google some of the places mentioned like Quinta do Lago, Penina Golf Resort (both in the Algarve) and Oitavos Dunes (in Cascais, close to Lisbon).
