Looking for a full service laundry in Central Porto. Hotel we booked does not have laundry service, and I don't really want to take the time out of our touristing to do laundry ourselves. Anyone have any suggestions? The guidebook lists a full service laundry with no name and "unpredictable hours" - makes me nervous.

Is the guidebook Rick Steve’s? We have his recommendations for laundries in Europe, never a problem. Did you ask your hotel for a recommendation? If they offer laundry they must have a solution for you.

The hotel we booked does not have laundry and simply said they might be able to direct us when we got there, but that they don't know if our time frame would work and offered no information I could check out on my own. The guidebook has no name for the full-service laundry, a vague location, and states that hours are unpredictable. Since it is over a km from our hotel, I'd rather not have to walk over lugging laundry only to find them closed.

Typing "laundry in Porto, Portugal" in the search box of Google Maps comes up with many self-service establishments but no full-service:(
