From Lisbon to the Porto Airport

Hello,
So what is the best way to go from Lisbon to the Porto Airport?
I would prefer not to take a flight.
Thanks

I was hoping for a more detailed explanation. There is no train to the Porto Airport, as far as I can find out.

Thank you

I don't know where you will be leaving from in Lisbon. You can catch the train to Porto from either the Santa Apolonia station or the Oriente station in Lisbon. The train will end in Porto at the Campanha station. From there you can go down into the metro and take the F/Orange line (direction: Senhora da Hora) to the Trinidade station. Then change to the E/Purple line and take it all the way to Airport. The entire trip should take about 3 1/2 hours, but I would allow 4 to account for catching the two metro trains.

Thanks Bill,
I appreciate it.
Is there a bus by chance that would take me to the airport?

Hi SimSim!

There are buses (601 and 602) but I don't advise you to use them. 1st, because from Campanhã you would have to take metro or another bus, to get to their departure sites. And 2nd, because they are unpredictable.

Best thing is, as explained, taking the metro at Campanhã towards anywhere that goes through Trindade (all lines go through Trindade, you just have to find the right direction, but there are people there that can help you), leave at Trindade, take the metro towards airport. From Trindade it is a 40 minutes ride, although you might have to wait 20 minutes. So between Campanhã and airport, give it one and a half hour, just for precaution.
