We are taking a tour in early November that starts in Lisbon and we will have free time late afternoon into evening on two days. Most sites close early so I’m not wanting to buy advanced tickets in case we can’t get there in time.
However, if we DO get done early, what are chances we can get into either St George or the Monastery of Jeronimos without buying in advance?
Thank you!!!
This is an amazing private collection museum.
Very impressive. We visited here before our RS Portugal tour.
And check out info here… the #28 tram is a great experience.
Thank you for the info!
If you are a fan of Banksy's art, there is a very interesting museum in Lisbon with reproductions of his works along with detailed explanations of the art and what happened to the originals (sold, painted over, protected in place, etc). We found it fascinating and well worth an hour or 2.
I recommend attending a fado show.
