Has anyone taken one of the food tours in Lisbon that have been recommended in RS guidebook? I am considering taking one when we are there later in October and wondered about people's recent experience. Any comments, good or bad?

Susan E, in September 2023 we took the Eating Europe "Undiscovered Lisbon Food and Wine Tour," and it was amazing. This was definitely one of the best food tours we've ever taken, probably the best. Our stops ranged from a simple beer and bifana (pork sandwich) to a definitely elevated meal prepared by a former Michelin chef and served with a private label wine. The tour included a private fado performance, with a lively sing-along session. My notes mention 5 different stops, and end with a simple "Wonderful!"
Highly recommended. Our guide was Leonor; request her, if possible. I seem to remember that this was a fairly new tour, and the guide and her companion were trying things out.
