Has anyone taken a flight from Madrid to Lisbon? We are thinking of flying from Madrid to Lisbon, and stay 3 nights in Lisbon. My dilemma is whether to fly back to Madrid and then fly back to the states or fly to the states out of Lisbon. Madrid is much cheaper and has better flights.
Any thoughts?

I think you answered you own question--"cheaper and better flights." But that does that take into consideration your time and the cost of going back and forth?
I can say I'd take a layover over flying out of MAD again anytime soon, but that's just me.
