Hello. My family and I will be on pilgrimage to Fatima Sanctuary and Basilica during Holy Week 2017. We arrive in Lisbon on Tuesday April 12th and depart early Saturday morning April 15th. Would anyone know from past experience if the Sanctuary may be opened and/or one may go to Mass at the Basilica on the Wednesday before Easter Triduum? Thank you very much.

Hello,
I was there last September. The mass was held outside in this hugh courtyard. The shire was open to the public. They were renovating the basilica.
I was able to go and see the tombs of Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta.
It's possible that the mass would be held outside. I don't know how you'd find that out. Sorry.

When open, the Basilica normally hosts many masses per day. This sites looks most likely for more news: www.santuario-fatima.pt.
