Has anyone used Yellow Fish Transfers to get from the Faro airport to their hotel in Tavira? or is there a better option? we land in Faro around 9:30pm. Thank you.

I have never used Yellowfish, as I always hire a car. I have friends who live in Cabanas near Tavira and when they travel to the airport, they always used to use Yellowfish, but the last few times, Yellowfish haven’t wanted to head out to Cabanas, so they got friends to take them to the airport. To my knowledge, Yellowfish are the company with the best reputation.

How long will you be in Tavira? Will you be going other places? We were just in Tavira for a week. It is a charming historical town, but far from the beaches and other interesting places. I would rent a car. You can take rental cars into Spain from Portugal, if you desire.

Head to Quatro Aguas in Tavira and you can get a water taxi to the beach. Alternatively, head to Pedras d’el Rei for Praia Barril beach.
Taking a car into Spain depends on which hire company you use - many don’t permit this unless you pay an additional fee. Alternatively, take the train from Tavira to VRSA and take the boat over to Ayemonte in Spain for the day.
