Any recommendation for fado with dinner? We are not night owls and prefer to eat by 9pm. Quality of the food is important. I have seen several listed: O Faia, Fado ao Carmo, A Severa. There is also one that Anthony Bourdain visited but I believe they only serve snacks.

I stayed at the My Story Hotel Rossio recently and they had Fado male performers at their upstairs restaurant on some weeknights. They were very good and the food was excellent, especially the salmon.

We went to Casa de Linhares a week ago and both the food and Fado performances were excellent. It was recommended to us by a local as well as our hotel. Might be one of the more expensive places, but it was worth paying a bit more. Here’s the link. https://casadelinhares.com/fado:

For good food and high quality Fado I would recommend the legendary Senhor Vinho. Dinner reservations begin at 20h and Fado begins an hour later. Highly recommended.
