When I go to the website for aCapella (one of 2 venues recommended in the RS guide), the photograph there is of people watching fado singers on a screen. That suggests that the performance is not live. Am I missing something?

The performance at aCapella was truly live when I was there, Oct 2022. I don't recall any sort of screen.

When we were there last September we watched fado at Café Santa Cruz. It’s beside the Santa Cruz church. It had two free performances nightly; 6pm and 10pm. Each performance lasted an hour. The cafe was cash only. At the end of the performance the musicians tried to sell you a CD or get a donation.
