We're spending four days in the Algarve this May and have a spare day. We're spending the majority of our time in the area between Lagos and Praia da Marinha. With that extra day, I'm thinking about heading east and seeing Tavira, the Igreja de São Lourenço in Almancil and perhaps the old town in Faro OR heading west and seeing the area around Cape Sagres and Cape St Vincent. Neither area is really blowing me away (at least on paper); any thoughts on those who have been to both areas?
