Epipen and travel meds

I will be in Lisbon for a few days and then the Algarve. I need a replacement Epipen and wondering if I could buy there, would I need a local prescription and what would it cost. Second, I need to get a Typhoid booster and malaria pills for another trip. Any suggestions for getting those in Portugal? Of course I can get all of this in the US -- but for all of these things I am looking at $800-$900.

The CUF hospitals are private and have outpatient clinics. Depending on how many days you will be in one place, getting an appointment should be doable. If you have the prescription (or an old one) for the Epipen, you might be able to buy it at a Pharmacia without a new script. If you can't, the pharmacist would possibly advise you on where to go for a doctor ( if not CUF). And, the Pharmacia's give the flu shots so your immunization might be there. But, a flu immunization requires a prescription, so yours likely would, too.
Seeing a doctor at CUF in Cascais costs €30!
