Entry requirements for Portugal

Hi! Apologies if this has been asked before. My wife and I will be travelling to Portugal for the first time this summer from the United States. I'm under the impression we do not need a visa (is that correct?) but may need an ETIAS? Was having trouble finding online when that requirement goes into effect (or maybe already has?). Can we get those now or to we need to wait until a closer time to our trip window (didn't know if they expire)? Do we need proof of any vaccinations? Appreciate any information you can provide. Thank you!

And no visa, no vaccination proof required.

Have a great time. We went to Portugal in 2023 and loved it. Everyone does.

If you are traveling on a US passport then no visa is required. You are subject to the 90 in 180 rule within the Schengen area.

as mentioned above, things change if you will stay for more than 90 days in Schengen area in any 180. For a normal short vacation, no issue.
