EES in Lisbon

Landed around 8:30 am on Friday. The EES line moved quickly, probably because the machines didn't seem to work for most, if not all people. It was either a red circle with a slash error symbol or (in my case) a message saying to get checked in manually by an agent. Several staff members were helping passengers. The manual line moved briskly, too. Just a few basic questions and I was through in less than half an hour after disembarking from the plane, including a bus ride to the terminal. I only had carry-on luggage. In another post, I mentioned that I had completed the EES questionnaire the day before arriving. Maybe that had something to do with the efficiency, maybe not.

thank you for the update! I suspect there are a lot of variables (number of flights arriving, time of day, staffing levels, etc.). Glad you had a good experience!
