I am scheduled to arrive in Lisbon on Friday, the 8th. I am within the 72-hour window. However, I am unable to enter my information on the app. I have read that the system is barely working at the airport. Is that the case with the app as well? Any insights from recent travelers? Thanks!

I don't have the answer, but the app page has a FAQ that suggests some steps if the app doesn't work. Not saying they will help, but worth a shot. I'm curious how it goes as I'll need to do this in November. Good luck! https://travel-europe.europa.eu/ees/Travel-to-Europe-mobile-app

A quick update. I was able to enter my information in the EES app. Seems to me that the 72-hour window is actually 24. Got a QR code to be scanned/shown to officials at the airport. We'll see if it works and if it speeds up my entry. Will report again!
