Driving from Seville to Lisbon. Best place to stop for lunch?

We are driving from Seville to Lisbon mid November. We would like to stop in the Algarve for lunch, possibly in Faro or another town. I would appreciate your personal experience and suggestions. Thanks.

Tavira would be better than Faro. But if you have time, Lagos (with a quick drive out to Ponte de Piadade) would be even better!
