I'm sure that at one time I was on a website that spoke of Duoro River cruise packages from Porto that included overnight at a winery/hotel but I cannot find that website again. Has anyone ever done this? any recommendations? or reviews? Thanks in advance.

I was watching a show about self-drive boats on the Duoro just two days ago. I've never been to Portugal but the self drive boats look easier than British narrowboats on canals (something I do now). If you want it as a cruise fully crewed I'm sorry I don't have a lot of help for you. Sorry

I'm Portuguese and I love Douro Valley. There are some cruise packs from different companies that can take you up river. One of the favourite for people that prefer cruises is Douro Azul, but I believe their packs include the overnights in the cruise itself...
There are other companies that have overnight(s) - check Cruzeiros Douro ;)
