Day Trip/Tour from Lisbon to Fatima and Batalha?

Husband and I will be visiting Portugal for the first time leaving next week! We'll be in Lisbon for a few days next week prior to our Viking River Cruise "Portugal's River of Gold" tour. We will not have a car. We have a free day on Sunday April 24 and are thinking of booking a day trip/tour to visit both Fatima and the Batalha Monastery. Has anyone done this? I know Viator has an 8 or 9 hour bus tour that visits both of these places but also includes visits to Nazare (for lunch) and Obidos, so not sure really how much time we would have at our 2 "must see" sites of Fatima and Batalha. I'm thinking perhaps we could book a private tour which is much pricier, but doable. The group I found for a customized private tour is "Sintra Magik Private Tours". We generally travel to Europe independently but thought this River Cruise sounded like something different and fun. Any other recommendations? Appreciate any suggestions! Thank you.

Many years ago we did the bus tour and found it worthwhile. For us there was enough time at each stop. The bus has many pick up locations in Lisbon early in the morning and dropped us off at a central location, Praca Dom Pedro IV, at the end of the day. You will be exhausted at the end of the day, as it is a lot of driving, getting off/on the bus, always on a timed schedule, etc., but if you only have 1 day to visit all these sites, this is a great option! Good luck
