Cork Farm near Evora

My wife and I are spending three weeks in Portugal including three days in Evora. We are interested in a cork farm tour that includes lunch. Does anyone have any experience and recommendations they could share? We are going next June.

We were fortunate to visit family owned Rovisco Garcia Olive & Cork Farm on our RS Portugal Tour (2016). It was our understanding the farm was only open for RS Tours and one other tour company. That said, if you do a search on RS website "Cork Farm Tours" you may find reviews of other farms near Evora. Hope you find what you are looking for. Visiting a cork farm was one the highlights of our tour!

My friend and I visited Èvora in summer 2017. We did a guided cork trek (just really a walk through a cork farm, not that difficult) with http://maroteira.com/en/inicio/. They also offer tours via Jeep for those who do not care to walk. The farm also has a vineyard. The tour includes a lunch in a nearby village. On the way to lunch our guide took us on a short detour to a megalithic burial site. A very interesting afternoon. I would highly recommend this tour.
