We are traveling to Portugal in the fall and are looking for the opportunity to take a Portuguese cooking class in Porto, Coimbra, Douro Valley, or the Nazare area. Any recommendations?

Don't know of any off hand, however, suggest you contact tasteporto.com which offers amazing food tours of Porto and advice on the areas your looking at. I'm sure they could arrange something for you as they do private tours or point you in the right direction. We have done 2 food tours with them and used a group they recommended for a day trip with lunch and tastings in the Douro valley.
