Coimbra to Obidos on a Sunday

I need to travel from Coimbra to Obidos on a Sunday, 10/1. I wonder if I should take the bus or train? I see both take some time on a weekend. Would it be better to travel direct from Coimbra to Lisbon and than back to Obidos? I made a hotel reservation in Obidos for the night of 10/1. I could change that.

I saw those train times, but when I tried to buy a ticket online in advance it did not work and I panicked. I appreciate the reassurance!
