We are driving from Porto to Lisbon and plan to stay 2 nights in Coimba. Does anyone have a recommendation for a place to stay that would not require driving into the middle of town or at least be easy to find parking and walk/taxi? We prefer small hotels/BnBs with breakfast if possible. Any suggestions would be helpful!

In Coimbra, we stayed across the river at Quinta de las Lagrimas, an historical property, excellent dining, pedestrian bridge across the river. Nice experience.
