I have this question too. For now, I'm planning to leave them in a locked trunk of a car, but I know how risky that can be.

Can’t speak to storage lockers, but there are two free parking lots near the town center; by the municipal market and in front of Thomar Boutique Hotel. Both are in busy areas, so as long as you don’t open the trunk/hatchback after parking nobody would know anything is in the vehicle. The lot at the Convent of Christ is a pay lot with people coming and going all the time.
