Hello everyone,
We want to rent a car in Evora, tour around a bit, then head off to Coimbra where we plan to drop it off.
Can someone please make a suggestion as to what company to use?
Also, is it better to pick up the car the night before we need it or in the morning? How long does the process take in the car rental office?

Check with AutoEurope, a broker in Portland, ME for advice. Call them.We have used them for years.

I second the Auto Europe suggestion. I have either picked up or dropped off a car in both these cites and the offices are small. That’s good if there is no one else there, but with only one staff person, if there are people there before you - you have to wait a bit.
Auto Europe uses Europcar in both cities.
I would pick it up when you need it to save a days rent.
