I am visiting Portugal in early June and am planning on stopping at Fatima for a short visit en route to Coimbra via bus. Is there a place to store luggage at the Fatima bus station? Thanks for your help.

I am going to Fatima on our way to Porto on Tuesday 30th May 2017 & will check as we need to do the same. I will post to this site asap so that you will be up to date.

Visited Fatima yesterday 30th May 2017. Yes - the bus station has a place where you can leave your luggage for the day. The cost is €2.50 per piece. You may get a spot in a locked closet or in the office but either way it is secure. When we arrived we asked our bus driver if there was a place to leave our luggage & he said - no - & he confirmed that by asking 3 other drivers standing near who all said - no! So you can ignore your driver. Funny thing is when we walked in to the station to get our ticket for our onward journey to Porto there is a large sign by the office saying - Luggage Storage €2.50 per piece!

Can you let me know what bus company you took to Fatima that has Luggage storage for 2.50 Euros per piece.
Also, I am planning to go from Lisbon to Fatima, Coimbra and then Porto. It is better to take a day trip from Coimbra to Fatima? any good place to rent a car in Porto as we are planning to go from Porto to Santiago de Compostela.
