I have a transit flight through Portugal, and am confused about the entry requirement.
I read that a EU Digital COVID Pass would work, but the language does say for EU citizens. I'll be visiting France, and managed to convert my US CDC Card into the French Health Pass.
Will Portugal accept that? Or do I have to get the negative PCR test still?
Not sure if anyone on here has tried. It appears, that yes, you will need either an Antigen test within 48 hours, or a PCR test within 72 for even a transit in Portugal, your CDC card is not sufficient it appears. My basic understanding is that the French pass would be honored, but to be honest, not sure if the pass the French are issuing to visitors is the official Pass Sanitaire it issues to it's residents, or a separate one for tourists. The arrival from the US, on a US passport, with no residency Visa, but a French pass may be questioned.
I would just be prepared and get the test, avoiding any problems.
I just got back from there and the EU pass I got from France worked fine.
Oh awesome, thanks for the info! I actually just went to get my PCR test done today... results in 1-2 days. Because I fly out on Friday. But good to know "in case" my results come late, I won't be super stressed out.
Posting here in case anyone else wonders. Just checked in to my TAP Portugal flight from EWR to LIS. At the counter they asked for COVID vaccine test, I showed them the France Health Pass I had instead, and told them it was a EU Digital Vaccine pass. Lady asked me to go back a page so she could verify it (guessing to make sure it's coming from an official app versus a picture or something???) and accepted it afterwards. She didn't scan the QR code or anything.

What you describe is exactly what we plan to do, except we will fly from France to Portugal. I assume the check-in agents in France will be perfectly happy with our Pass Sanitaire, but my worry is that they would look at our US passports and say "you need a covid test".
