Caiscais hotel recommendations for July?

Other than the Albatroz… any recommendations? Doesn’t have to be a luxury hotel. Prefer breakfast and nice location. Also if you have favorite places to stay or eat in Lisbon?Barcelona?

We stayed at the Hotel Baia in Caiscais in November and were pleased. I chose it for its location (very central and right on the beach). We had a room with a balcony that had a lovely view of the sea and was also great for people watching as it overlooked the promenade. The breakfast was nice and I recall that they offer a brunch on weekends. Bathroom was great but the room was a bit small. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

In Lisbon we stayed in Hotel da Baxia in November and loved it. Everything was perfect, breakfast outstanding and you could not ask for a better location. Cannot say enough good about Hotel da Baxia! It has been a few years since our stay in Barcelona but I recall being happy with H10 Raco del Pi in the Gothic Quarter.

I also recommend the Baia to visitors but there are several others you might want to check out. The Pergola is a lovely B&B, in a great location but no sea view. The Pestana, Farol, Grand Villa Italia all have great views but are a bit out of town. The Pestana offers a shuttle into town. The Posada at the Citadela is lovely and close to town. There is also a Eurostars a bit out of town but very close to a bus stop.

Westlight Cascais Chalet is where we stayed at the end of April. It was very nice. I hope you can find someplace at this late date.

Just remembered a very new hotel - if money is no object. The name is Artsy Hotel and it’s in an old building that’s been restored in a great location. It looks lovely but again, it’s quite expensive. There is also a small hotel in town called Cascais Beach Hotel. Good location but no view. Good luck with your search.

I just recently - late May - stayed in Cascais at the Pestana Cidadela Cascais. Absolutely lovely. Located within the walls of the old Cidadel, right on the Cascais Marina. Wonderful breakfast in a glass-walled room overlooking the Marina. Bright and sunny. Beautiful view on a sunny day. Impeccable service. I would highly recommend this hotel. Near everything and yet quite tranquil. Indoor and outdoor pools. Short walk to the beach and to countless eateries.
