We were delighted to discover the fairly new Cabinet of Curiosity at Coimbra University. It is in the School of Science, and is included in the regular ticket for the university self guided tour. A team gathered a selection of items from its collection and assembled them in a way that makes one feel as if they are inside the cabinet. Having no signage or directional signs, one’s eyes are encouraged to just wander from item to item. It’s really beautiful, fascinating and weird.
