I was wondering after watching many youtube videos of travel to Portugal if purchasing leather purses and items is a good deal? Price wise? and Quality wise?
I saw some very cute items....
Also if there is any items that I should look at for purchase...

Another thought is buying a Cork handbag. They are not only unique, but waterproof as well! I found a small cross body cork bag that I love.
Quality & pricing affordable. Picked up some coin purses and bracelets for gifts. Found these in Obidos, but can be found throughout Portugal. The color of cork is neutral friendly and goes with everything. If purchasing be sure the label reads "Made in Portugal."
I find that leather goods in Portugal are far more expensive than a similar quality in the UK.
Cork goods are an acquired taste.
I too, would suggest that you look at cork items while on your trip. On our last visit, I purchased a bracelet and earrings. I do receive a lot of compliments on them, because they are rather unique items. Mine were bought at "The Cork Store" in Lisbon. I found them to have high quality items at a fair price.
