Bus to Nazare

There is no actual bus station in Óbidos, just designated bus stops on the road outside the town walls, so there are no luggage lockers or left luggage storage I know of. If traveling by bus, I'd go directly to Nazaré and consider visiting Óbidos as a day trip from there. Most buses between Nazaré and Óbidos involve a change in Caldas da Rainha. I"ve done this trip both by bus and car and prefer car, which is faster. Even when traveling by car, I'm hesitant to leave my luggage in my car, as I've heard way too many stories of break-ins, so I'd still go directly to Nazaré and visit Óbidos as a day trip w/out luggage.

I traveled by bus last year from Figueira da Foz (FdaF) to Nazare and had a pretty good experience riding on FlixBus. The bus is comfortable and ran on schedule from what I could gather. A couple of times though I didn’t see where the actual bus stop for the FlixBus was. It seemed like RedeExpressos had more of a dedicated station stop whereas FlixBus stop was often just outside of a station. YMMV but that was my experience in FdaF and Evora.

I have no experience with taking a bus to Obidos because the only time I was there, it was during a brief stop on a guided tour.

We take the bus into Nazaré all the time, either from Lisbon or Porto. Very comfortable, cheap and easy.
The new bus station is nice too, but not sure they have lockers.

However, there is a locker storage center in town. Just Google it.

Then, I would grab an Uber to Obidos. Ubers are cheap in Portugal.
