We are going to Portugal in two weeks, spending 3 nights in Nazare at the start. We wish to catch a bus from Lisbon, and want to know how long it will take to get to the bus station from LIS. We have also had no success purchasing tickets on the Rede Expressos web site: their site is easy, but the site they transfer me to for payment gives me an error message every time. Any thoughts?

I am not sure why the site isn't working but I don't expect you would have problems buying tickets once you are at the bus station. Most buses should be leaving out of the Rede Expressos station which is out of the city and not too far from Lisbon Portela Airport. For simplicity and peace of mind I would take a taxi and the drive should only be about 15-20 minutes.
