I'm not familiar with Brown's Hotel. I stayed at the Lisboa Tejo Hotel in September and was really pleased with the room, the service and the location. There are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance and good Tram access.

Jack, I stayed at Brown's Downtown the year before last. It's a great hotel in a convenient location. It's near a metro stop and convenient to take Rick's three Lisbon walks as well as going out to Belem. I've recommended it to friends who also liked their stay there.
