The best thing to do is contact the closest Portuguese consulate to you for official answers.

Schould not be a problem as long as you keep them in the original containers and bring the prescriptions and other paperwork. And bring a reasonable amount for the length of your trip.

Yes, you can travel with these. While most are controlled, none are outright illegal in Europe (As are some stimulants dispensed in the US).

For these, it would be best to leave them in labeled containers, bring paper or electronic copies of the prescriptions, maybe even a letter from your Doctor noting that he prescribed them and what he is treating (Clonazapam for example could be for anxiety or seizures or other symptoms). Also only bring enough for the trip plus a few spares (For example, if you have a 90 day supply, and going for two weeks, bring 18-20 days worth)

Chances are that no one will look or ask, the bigger need may be if you lose your bag or drop meds down the sink drain, then you may be able to get them replaced by going to a local Doctor, and have all the information. However, these meds would be hard to get dispensed there.

Agree with Frank II 100%! They alone can give you official answers. If at all possible, try to get their advice / answers in writing. Remember Brittney Griner.

Remember Brittney Griner.

I am afraid trying to carry Cannabis products when crossing the Russian border is very different, and obviously illegal, than having prescribed medications in Europe.

Paul's advice sounds good. Relative to Britney Griner, Portugal didn't invade a neighbor and expect the US to be ok with it.

Granted, marijuana is illegal in Russia. And I may have erred by comparing apples to oranges, but I believe Griner had a medical marijuana card issued by Arizona to help her cope with injuries sustained over years of competition. I simply used her as an example as to why one should seek an official answer from the Portuguese government. Sorry if I offended her fans.
