Does anyone know anything about Braga's expat community(ies)? I hope to move permanently to Portugal soon, and it will take a whle to learn to speak Portuguese. In the meantime, my question is: Is there an English-speaking expat community in the city of Braga?

I don’t personally know about the expat community in Braga but there is a lot of English spoken - at least in the tourist areas. In case you don’t know, any TV shows or movies filmed in English are shown on tv and in theaters in the original English with Portuguese subtitles. All children are required to take English in school for at least five years. The bigger cities and towns all have many people who speak English.
Regarding the expats, you might try searching on Facebook for things like expats Braga, living in Braga, etc. There are many such groups here in Cascais, and I do see things occasionally about Braga. Also, the Facebook group Americans and Friends In Portugal is invaluable for assistance in all things related to moving here.
