We will be staying 3 nights in Braga and I'm looking for recommendations for a moderately priced inn. We like smaller places with "local charm", in or close to city center. For Braga I'd like to be within a half mile of the cathedral. We will need parking for our first night. My husband's day is made when there is breakfast.
Also interested in restaurant recommendations and any tips for scenic viewpoints and sites beyond the those listed in the guidebook. We will spend some time in Guimaeres.
We booked at Domus 26 Guesthouse-B&B. We haven't stayed there yet, though it has excellent reviews. Its 3 guest rooms can be reserved through booking.com or directly at domus26guesthouse.pt/?lang=en. I'm excited about staying there because they offer a gluten-free breakfast. I also understand there's an outstanding gluten-free bakery, Bonna Pastelaria, just steps from the guesthouse.
