Bookstore in Lisbon and/or Porto

Are there recommended bookstores in Lisbon or Porto that are well-stocked in English translation of books by Portuguese authors? I'm not looking for just any English language books. Also, I don't read/speak Portuguese.

Livraria Bertrand in Lisbon, Chiado area.

Livraria Lelo in Porto but it has become a tourist attraction.

I agree that https://www.livrarialello.pt/en/home is a big tourist attraction, but there's a good reason why it markets itself as "the world's most beautiful bookstore". I spent more than an hour inside taking photos. Books are in a variety of languages; just ask the staff and they will direct you. E.g. Bill Shakespeare can be found in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and German, etc.

Buy a €8 timed entry (you still need to line-up) and you can use the ticket price as a credit on your purchase.

PS during the online ticket buying process, the website kept defaulting my country to Afghanistan. Just push through to the credit card payment and you should be fine.

We were just in Porto and we refused to pay the outrageous price just to go into the bookstore.

Ah we ended up not doing many bookstores which is OK. We didn't visit Óbidos.

We aren't Harry Potter fans so we didn't attempt to enter that famous shop, Lella, but lines were very long.

I did see an English translation of a Portuguese book that I wanted to buy but missed my opportunity. I saw it at an airport bookshop but did not realize that after a certain security point that there were no other bookstores that would have that book. Oh well. Next time.
