Booking Heathrow Express in Advance

This is getting exciting. I am getting closer to my trip and I am "getting there"

I want to ask about booking Heathrow Express in advance.

(Supposedly) I will be arriving Heathrow the. morning of October 8th amd taking the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station..

I know that i can get a decent discount buying in advance. I can not remember. Do I have to buy 30 days in advance?

And then what? I go directly to Heathrow Express website and use my credit card to book a train. Do I get a receipt? What do I do when I get to Heathrow ? And am I committed to choosing a certain day and time for the Express? Do I have a window to use my ticket?

you're lucky to get your answer Phil - you posted this in the Portugal forum.

But the answers you got are correct!!

I can feel your excitement building. I don't know what you'll be like in September!!

Nigel, you are right.

I can not believe that I did this.

To explain, I am a severe insomniac and often do things, or try to do things, while sleep deprived. For instance, it is going on 4 a.m here and I have been up since 3 a.m. I have had some sleep but not enough and am fatigued. I will probably be able to get more sleep later

Although I posted this at what seems normal hours, I still may have been sleep deprived.

I was going to purchase air yesterday but was too tired to do so. Good thing that I didn't. I might have made a very expensive mistake.

I have learned the hard way not to purchase anything when I have not slept enough or even pay a bill. Even sending an email has sometimes proven to be a mistake.

So, can I move this post over to England? I like to leave posts up because it might help someone else.

As you said, I did get the correct information. The Heathrow Express is expensive!

Hello all,

It has been brought to my attention that I posted this in Portugal when it should have been posted on England.

Is there any way to move the discussion? I do not want to delete it because the information that I received is correct and helpful. it might help someone else.

As I just said to Nigel, The Heathrow Express is expensive.

the only way is if you ask the Webmaster and they may or may not.... can't hurt to ask
