Hi. We will be in Lisbon for a few days in October and wanted to know what is the best way to see Fatima. We will only have one day available to see Fatima. Should we take a tour or go by ourselves? If we go by ourselves, should we take a bus, train or hire a cab or guide to get there? Any information you can provide would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Barbara- we stopped in Fatima on the RS Portugal Tour. If interested, I can recommend a tour company that we hired for Sintra. They also do a tour from Lisbon to Fatima, with a stop in Nazare for lunch & a stop in Obidos. We were very happy with our tour. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging.
