Best way to get from Lagos to Evora

I'm planning a 2 week trip to Portugal for the first 2 weeks in October, 2017. Tentatively am looking at traveling from Lagos to Evora on Oct 5 or 6. Have heard there is only a weekly bus between Lagos and Evora. Is that still the case ? If the bus is a no go, is the train a viable alternative ? Thanks

According to Rome to Rio, the bus runs three days a week. Click on the link for more info. As an alternative, you can always take the train.
