We ( 2 couples) will be in Lisbon in September and traveling to Sevilla on Saturday 9/23/2023. We are trying decide between, driving, train or private car. if we drive or take a private car, what is the best route to take?
We will not be returning to Portugal.
Also once in Sevilla, an recommendations for a Flamenco show. We don't want a touristy place.

You can also fly nonstop from Lisbon to Seville. TAP (Air Portugal) flies this route seven days a week and Ryanair about two or three times a week. TAP has a late-night flight that is competitive pricewise with Ryanair.
We were going the opposite direction, but flew on Vueling airlines. You could have several options going by air.
IF you drove, would you be returning to Portugal, so you could turn in the car there? Returning a rental car in a different country than where it was picked up would likely cost several hundred euros, as a one-way rental fee.
We flew on TAP, it was great, not that expensive and both airports aren't too big or confusing. We took the bus from the Sevilla airport to the center, very easy.
