The weather looks to be lovely in Portugal the last 2 weeks in May - but how crowded will it be then? Would it be less crowded earlier in the month?

The month of May is usually lovely with a bit of rain at times. It’s starting to get crowded but nothing like middle of June. I really don’t think the first two weeks is much different from the last two in terms of crowds.

How crowded it will be depends on where you’re going. I consider the end of May to be the beginning of high season. In my travels hotel rates tend to rise about that time. The popular destinations will be getting crowded.
