We will be at Evora and returning to the Lisbon area. Should we drive to Sintra, Park the car and use public transportation to explore? Or should we drive to Lisbon airport first, drop off the car and do public transportation to Sintra. It makes a difference as to how long I have the rental agreement. Time matters. I want to maximize my experiences in each location rather than spending time transferring here and there. Note we will stay a night in Sintra.

I would not want a car in Sintra. It’s easy to take the metro from the airport, then the train from Lisbon to Sintra. There are buses, taxis and Uber in Sintra to get around once there.

Can you drop the car in Sintra? This would make the most sense to me. We picked one up there at Hertz a few years ago.
